PRESIDIO – The senior community service employment program (SCESEP) was created in 2003 with the purpose of supporting low-income adults by providing part-time jobs at the City of Presidio Library. Qualified applicants must be 55 years old or older. “There is available work in gardening, landscaping, and general maintenance.

This is an excellent opportunity for residents of Presidio looking to give back to the community.

It’s not a lot of money, but participants will have the opportunity to learn different skills. The services we offer at the library are enriching because we are supporting people and that fills us with gratitude,” said Carmen Elguezabal, Director of the Presidio Public Library. For more information, please visit the Presidio Library for an orientation.
